If you use Alt-A to start your animation in the 3Dview you can see that the animation speed varies among time. This is due to the variance of vertexes complexity on the screen during animation. As a result, you can't feel how fast will be the final rendred animation nor if one part of the animation is too fast/slow or not.

There are 2 tips answers:

  • Use the "sync" button to make animation follow time. Alt-A will skip frames to match animation time and speed.

  • Do a preview render of your animation by Ctrl-LB on the render view button. This will render you animation into a picture movie but in solid mode rather than true rendering which is really fast.
